Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Circle of Life

As I was talking to Scott tonight about the baby, I was thinking back to the night that he, himself, was born, over 30 years ago. It doesn't seem that long ago really, I can remember it as if it were just only a moment past. I had worked until 5:00 the night Scott was born, went into labor around 7:00 and he was born five min. to midnight. Scott was my second baby, after many, many years of thinking that I would never have another child, because by this time Darrin was 8. I had given up the thought of having more kids, when I found out that I was pregnant. So Scott was a very welcome baby. In those days we didn't have digital camera's, so I will have to go and dig out a hard copy picture of Scott when he was newborn. I think that Bailey looks more similar to Trevor's baby pictures, actually more so than to Scott's but there is a strong family resemblence for sure.

Hi Mike, glad it is working, I get pretty confused when I work with this stuff. I know it should be easy, but I manage to mix myself all up. haha
