Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

The Artist

My ex-husband, who was Trevor's and Scott's Father was an artist, he could draw anything. And Trevor has the same ability. It is very handy having an artist in the family, especially when you need someone to draw a car for a birthday game. I am not sure what this game was, but it was something like "pin the tail on the donkey", maybe it was "pin the headlight on the car." I think the inspiration for this Birthday party came from the movie, "Cars" by Pixar.

well, i guess no pain no gain. if there's no pain in our lives, we might forever live without using out brain coz everything is perfect for us. it's gonna be boring too! i prefer life with pain. it helps us grow! :)

wow...CARS! watch half way through and my dvd player broke down. -.-`

Hi akela, I agree, must be nice to just whip something out when you need something like this. My oldest son is a good artist also.

Hi Catch, I agree......being able to draw is a handy asset. I often wish they were here to draw stuff for me.

Hi Elween, well I suppose so, although I really don't care for pain that much, so now I just want to rest. hmmmmmm we get our permanent rest all to soon so I guess that is a bad thought, don't want to do that yet......so I guess wanting rest is a bad idea, huh, haha

resting is a wonderful thing! not everyone has the potential to do so. like my dad, he has insomnia, couldn't sleep well every night whereas my mum sleeps like nobody's business....

Hi la bellina mammina, welcome to my blog, good to see you here. I will get over to your blog once I return home. I am at my son's right now with limited computer access. too many people, to few computers. haha

Hi Elween, I think the people who sleep well are the ones who don't worry as much, us worriers use the middle of the night to do our hardest worrying, when the house is quiet and the mind can ramble. It isn't that I need less sleep, I just can't seem to get to sleep, so then during the day, I am always half tired. My husband is like your Mom, he sleep really well........but then he has me to do all the worrying. haha
