Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Atlanta Aquarium

A couple of years ago they opened a brand new aquarium in Atlanta. We went to see it on opening day. If you like fish this is a nice place to spend a quiet afternoon. We had a great time watching the different types of fish and other aquatic life. My favorites were the sea otters.

They looked to be quite content and enjoying life, and seemed to really enjoy the crowd of people who always gathered to watch them. They were resting when I got my pictures, it is hard to take pictures of them when they are cavorting in the water. They move pretty fast.

Ahhh, a life of fun and leisure ... sigh I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go .... I'd like to be an otter -- as long as I got to wear my own coat.

Hi Q, how are you, good to see you. :) Yes, they are just as cute as they can be, I spent most of my time here watching them play, they had quite a good time and they didn't mind me watching them at all, I think they like an audience.

HI Quilly, yes, I think that these two have a far better life than the ones in the wild....no fear of danger here....
