Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Water is lifeless, but see how much expressive it is here...through your eyes.

HI Jac, I looked at this place with much awe and wonder, it is nothing like anything I had ever seen before, and the smells and sounds are truly Louisiana. And I love the state of Louisiana, I was here with a friend and I really enjoyed this trip.

Hi Queenie, it really isn't as spooky in real life, it is actually quite beautiful. But there are snakes and croc's.....

HI Akela, we were there for three days, with a campfire burning, and the lightenbugs, it has a real deep south feel to it.......all we needed was a banjo.

Hi Libby.....they call these a Bay, in Louisiana, everyone else calls them a swamp or a bayou.....

It is funny, everyone thinks that they eat crocodile, but actually only tourists eat crocodile....haha
