Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

That's beautiful! You are one talented, creative lady.
I hope Nick continues with his music. Our Becky is fortunate to be able to play piano by ear, and quite well, but now she never plays anymore. It's sad. I only wish I could play like that...

Hi Queenie, thank you. Our temperatures go up and down. One day it is freezing the next it is 60. But that is the south, if our weather comes from the ocean it is warm and if it comes from Canada it is cold.

HI Akela, no it doesn't have to be serious, but I think it is call a different name when it is comic. I will have to go and find out. I think it is called Haiban......

There is much I do not know about the art.....:)

Hi LIbby, thank you , I don't do much free hand, I am one of those people who never thinks their work is very good. So I always ruin it before I finish.

Well going to go work in the basement in a few min. Still haven't taken any pictures....guess I will tonight. although they won't look like much. This the part of he job that is just messy.

Hi cindy, thank you. Well I don't know how talented I am, all around me are artists....I often just take a back seat. haha

I hope Nick continues also, but you know kids. So far he has because he like music better than some of the other classes that he would have to take if he didn't take band. No one plays by ear here, they all have to read the music. Playing by ear is a true art form.

HI Dr. John, we used to have Egrets on the land in Louisiana, everytime I would mow the land in front of the house , they would come by the dozens. Don't see them that often here, but we aren't that close to water either. This was done from the marshy places we have in Louisiana. I guess if you have fields full of bugs, the Egrets will come. :)
