Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Senior Picture

Ana received her Senior Pictures today.....and I got two different poses. So you kids (Scott, Trevor, Darrin) need to decide which one you want and what size.

Just between you and me....I am wondering how happy she will be with that hairstyle in about 10 years......haha. I told her, hair styles are a trend, and once they are gone, we look back and say, "what was I thinking!" But she assures me that she will always like these styles......I say, at least they are easy. I remember the "big hair" that we had when I was in high school.

Ana looks beautiful! I think years down the line she will still be proud of her senior pictures. :0)

Yeh, she loves them, I suppose that she will, I am just waiting to hear what my Mom is going to say. She doesn't like serious poses, and she doesn't like messy hair. And I know that she is going to have something derogatory to say about that, and it will hurt Ana's feelings, but then my Mom is good at that....I grew up with it, so I am used to it.

I love Ana's hair, it looks good on her, and it suits her.......if you knew her you would say so also, it suits her. :)

If you can't use your blog for family things what can it be used for. Your daughter takes great pictures.

Hi Libby, thank you so much, of course we think she is pretty....but then what parent doesn't. She looks more like her father than me, wish I could take the credit, haha, but she has her father's full mouth.

She doesn't wear any makeup except for a bit of eye liner. She was fortunate to have lovely skin.....

Hi akela, she used to wear it long and then realized she looked better with short hair, and now she cuts her own, after one trip to the beauty shop that she found to be disappointing. she came right home and cut away on it, and I told her, well that was 45.00 wasted. haha. So now she just cuts it herself. And saves the money. I like her hair short.....a lot.

Hi Dr. John. Yes, I origianlly started the blog for two reasons, to communicate with the kids, and to keep track of my flowers. I don't have the garden blog anymore, it was just to much work trying to do more than one. I got everyone a cell phone, so we call each other more often now.
