Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Between The Storms

I went out in the garden and took a few pictures. We are in the middle of some really high winds and terrible rain, so it is hard to get pictures of flowers that are nodding in the breeze, but I got a few that aren't to bad. The one thing I love about digital, for every good picture there are 20 bad, but no wasted film anymore. I used to waste a lot film back in the day of film and developing.

Hi Dr. John, we are fortunate to be having some great weather, but then we don't have the cold that you have there. It never gets all that cold here, never below zero.

Hi Quilly, yep spring is just around the bend. It got to almost 75 today, and then down to 37 tonight.

Hi LIbby, thank you, I am just so happy to have something blooming. Can spring be far behind?

Nothing blooming here other than icicles. Half an inch of ice on everything this AM. But, every day is one day closer to Spring.
Your flowers are beautiful!

Thank you Cindy, we go from warmer days back to cold, but it hasn't frosted in about a week. I still can't plant some of the things that will freeze though because we often haved frost till April. Last year all my azaleas got frozen. Hope this year they make it.
