Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Garden Data Log, Flowering Cherry

Kwanzan Flowering Cherry (Prunus Serrulata 'Kwanzan')
Grown by Pirtie Nursery, Inc.
Smithville, TN 37166

When I began blogging I intended to use it mainly as a way of keeping data on my garden.

I plant flowers and then forget the names and the date when I planted them and any other information that I wanted to keep. So I am going to use my blog for that purpose also. I just planted a new flowering cherry tree and I want to remember when I planted it and other information about the tree.

Any reason is a good reason to blog! :)

I could start another blog for this purpose, but I decided instead I will just use the word search and post them with the words gardendatalog, and then I can find them all quickly. If I start to many blogs, I just don't post anything to any of them. haha

HI Quilly, at one time I had five, I seldom got around to all of them, and realized that I could do it all on one. I was just so over eager in the beginning....haha

Hi Pete, I know how it is......well I know how it is for me, I have a tendency to go great guns at something, and then slack off for a time, it isn't always that I am so busy I just don't always feel like blogging. And then I will get into a writing fit and want to write. I am very inconsistent. Story of my life, haha......

We never know what is happening in someone elses life, I guess everyone has their own "stuff" but I just like to know that the line of communication isn't gone forever. It is such a feeling of loss to me. I have had good friends just close there blog without a word, it is kind of sad. Luckily you aren't one of them......I would miss you. I am so glad to see HHB doing a bit again. No matter how much or how little doesn't matter, just like to know the blogs are still there........:):)
