Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

BEEEauuutiiiful! Spring has sprung somewhere anyway. Sure not here- we had blizzard conditions of the first day of "spring".

The cherry tree will freeze on monday if the weather prediction is correcrt. That is our only problem, the temperature jumps around to much. There must be a rather shoert growing season there, huh.

HI Chana, well I have stopped by your place a couple of times, and don't think you had posted anything in about a month. so I figured you must be very busy. Well I know you are with five kids, haha.

Hope you are well, I know you are keeping busy.

I have had a few health issues lately, but nothing new. Just the same old s--t. haha

Hope you had a very nice Easter, we are in the process right now, I am cooking. Been cooking since last night. I usually have enough food to last a week,

Hugs to you, sweetie, glad to hear fro you. love ya...nea

Quilly, I had no idea they got so big.......and that they would grow so nicely here. The only problem I have, the japanese beetles love the leaves, by the end of the season they are only ghost leaves..... Happy Easter!!

Wishing you and your family a Happy Easter Nea,

I love the Spring, it is my favorite time of the year. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

Hi Akela, everything that I took pictures of will freeze if given the chance, we have only one day of frost prredicted, Monday night, then nothing even near freezing the rest of the 10 day forecast. but if it freezes that one night, all of those cherry blossoms, the flowering crabapple, the fringe flower will be gone. So I thought I better get some pictures while I could. Glad you liked them.....

I am glad you liked them Bill, spring has definitely come, although we still have frost in the forecast. If it isn't too several things will survive. We lost everything last year to a late frost. It is iffy......

Wow, I've been out of it. I had The Southern View up on my links and I wondered why it never let me know when you posted. I am relinking you as of today!!

Hi Burfica, thank you, I love the spring......my favorite time of year. Happy Easter to you also, although it is almost over now, isn't it. (It is almost midnight here.) I cooked all day, so tired I can hardly move......whew

HI susan, well I closed out the southern view, thinking if I wanted it back I could do so, and found out that isn't the case, so I had to start over. So I picked the same name I use on my website. I don't blog as often as I once did, but don't think I will ever close it again......unless they shut the whole thing down, or they make me, haha. I lead a pretty boring life these days, not much to blog about. :):)

What a lovely group of flowers and all in your garden. If the melt continues our flowers might start up if the rabbit doesn't get them.

Hi dr. John, we have had frost the last two night, I have some things covered, but can't cover them all. Hopeing for the best tonight, they are hanging on, not everything froze. I guess your spring is coming, just a bit later than ours.
