Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Feeling Better

I know there are virtues to medicine for what ails you, BUT I am finding out not everyone can handle antidepressants. For me they made my mood much worse. When I went off them I started to feel better right away. I am almost back to my old self. Never again will I let a Dr. give me that kind of medicine.

Now I am just feeling tired. And that might not pass so quickly because I seldom get enough sleep. But I am sure I am not alone.

I'm with you, it gets harder and harder to get my butt out of bed in the morning, after I have finally fell asleep.

Its along time ago since I had them, but I was the same as you Nea. I do find drinking White tea helps clear my system. BTW had a look on Final sense blog themes, didn't see anything as lovely as yours...

Nea,
I was going through some of my old posts and I saw a comment from you, which led me back to your blog. I haven't visited since before the storm changed your life, I've read through your posts about losing the house and the emotional process of letting it go. I'm so sorry for your loss, sending you a big blogger hug.

They do the same thing to me! I'm glad you tossed them away!

My daughter took antidepressants and nearly committed suicide as a result. She said they took away all the control she had over her thoughts. She stopped taking them the day she walked (being controlled by suicidal thoughts) to the kitchen drawer, took out the sharpest knife and put it to her wrist. She did not snap out of it until she drew blood. She has never again taken such pills and is doing fine.

Hi all, I think that they might work for some people, but for me they were actually making me dwell on the bad things that have happened lately to the point I didn't think I could go on much longer. I was having dark thoughts also. When I stopped taking the pills, yes I feel sad over my home, many things, but THEY AREN'T controlling me. It is hard to explain, but I had lost the will to do anything or even try and dig myself out. Now those thoughts can be pushed away. I once again have control over my mind. I am tired, but that is to be expected if you saw all that I have had to do these last two months. And I didn't have any reserves to draw on. Thank you all for being here for me......love, nea

So glad you are feeling better, Nea. I, too, agree about the bad side effects that such medicines can have

So much better. I am sure the meds work for some, but for me it was making things worse. I would love to be outside working. It is 6:30 and dark as a deep well outside. Winter time sure gives us short days.
