Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

The Bird and My New Monitor

I hope no one gets tired of looking at those beady black eyes, because I don't think I am going to change my bird template anytime soon. What happens when I do, is I lose all of my customization. So then I must go and retrieve everything. I have not found a way to save even my links, when I change my template. I often just want a change "of scenery" but I am getting a bit to lazy to go to THAT much work again. So I guess I will leave it alone for awhile. Besides I really have a hard time finding one that I truly like. I think I am going to like them, and then there is something about them that I find not to my taste. Some are just not of the appropriate configuration, even this one on my wide screen is scrunched over way to the left side, and has tons of empty space on the right. I suppose I could tweak something and make it more centered, but I don't really know how. You could write a book on what I do NOT know about HTML. So most of the time I used already set up templates and they are often not appropriate for a 19 inch screen.

Hi Quilly, I get over to you and OC's place every so often, I love reading about your new adventures. It sounds like you two are doing great.......If you had told me two years ago that you would be moving to Hawaii, I think I would have laughted, I remember a conversation we had about you working 8 more years there or something like that. But I know what can happen when a guy turns your head. hehe

Lou, poor lou, I don't know what happened to him, it will always be one of those sad mysteries. He was fine at 1am. At 3 am he was dead in my arms. I truthfully think he must have gotten poisioned but who how when or where, I haven't a clue. People suggested he got hit by a car, very unlikely, run down by deer, maybe. I saw him chased across the yard once by a buck.....but it is also unlikely. he didn't have a mark on him anywhere. It has been suggested he might have had a stroke. Seems also unlikely when it wasn't hot, and he wasn't old. but he is gone, and I miss him more than I can say......I still have my cat, but you know cats. haha
