Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

A Thought

"Be kinder than necessary,
for everyone you meet
is fighting
some kind of battle."

I read this today on Judith's blog and thought it worth repeating.

Too true. I try to live by this, but of course, being human, I am lucky when I succeed.

This just has the ring of truth. We never know how the other person hurts inside.

HI quilly, we have our good days and our bad, since we are only human. But it gets a lot easier to be kind when you are retired and don't have any trains to catch. When you are working and always in a hurry, it is hard to not be impatient with people. I have mellowed out a lot in the last years.

Hi Dr. John, I guess we all have a few sad stories.....some talk about them others don't, and some wallow in them......I try to listen when people whine and cry, but I wish everyone realized that we all have problems.
