Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Too cute!

Nea, I know you are overwhelmed right now, but once you figure your diet out -- and I have no doubt you will -- you'll be back to feeling healthy again! That's a major plus.

Oh Nea, I can imagine how devastated you must be, but hey! There's hope for something like this!!!
I have done a little "research" and came up with this http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/celiac/
Please have a little look-see, and DON'T DISPAIR AND DON'T LEAVE US!
I always enjoy your entries as I'm 100% sure all your other blogger buddies do as well!!!! Hang in there!!!

Hi quilly, yesterday I was a total mess. Finding out the way I did, and then accidently eating something with wheat in it, and spending the rest of the day in the bathroom. The reaction was violent....I am better today. I am finding out that wheat is hidden in many foods under assumed names. haha

Hi Ginco, I know that it is a bit silly to be so concerned over food, but just think about going the rest of your life without ever being able to enjoy the foods that you love. Well I guess I let it kind of run over me yesterday, but it was also because I was very sick yesterday after eating something that had maltodextrin, which I now know is a name for wheat....

I was raised on bread, when we didn't have anything to eat, we made toast and ate that with jam. I don't know what I am going to tell my Mom, she is never going to believe me........to her bread is the staff of life. To me it is a quick trip to the bathroom and hours of agony.

Ginco, thank you for the link I need all the help I can get. :):) I will definitely check it out. I have been doing lots of research today. I have to come up with some kind of game plan. After all I still have to feed a family, and I can't eat what they eat.
