Off The Beaten Path

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

Wonderful flowers. The frost came and all our roses died. But you have great flowers.

Hi Nea! I haven't been here in a bit so I had some catching up to do. The pictures of the trees look like water colors. Very pretty. Our leaves here are quickly approaching their peak colors and are beautiful but I sure hate to see what comes next... Glad you made it back from Effie okay and it sounds like you were able to save at least some things. I hope they were the things you hoped most were okay.

Hi Bill, thank you, the flowers were lovely......I enjoyed them.

Hi Dr. John, our frost won't be until Nov. I think, and then I will lose most of what I have left. But for now, things are still very pretty.

Hi Betty, thank you. These were taken in Effie, it is still pretty warm there.

Hi Cindy, I know my blog gets a bit confusing because I post pictures from all over, and not all taken in the same year. The trees are just starting to turn now, those were from last Nov.

HI Burfica, yeh, the flowers were growing right up through the wreckage of the house. They had no idea, haha.

Hi Libby, thank you. I hated to leave the flowers, but I also hated to dig them, in the end I left them. Hopefully they will still be there when I return.
